It involved Jack saving Rose from being pulled into the Void (or the parallel world) by being one of the ones holding the lever. I think he got hit in the head with a Cyberman's foot as they were flying into the Void...

I did my renaissance Lit exam today. Thank god that is out of the way. I think I had a panic attack last night. It was strange I was in bed and I knew I needed to sleep but couldn't and my mind was on my test. Then I started shaking a little with nerves and breathing really fast and I felt my heart speed up. I took deep breaths but it kept on happening. I didn't get one hour sleep in a row last night. I went to try to sleep at 2am and finally gave up at 7.30 am.(by that time I had calmed down)

So I got on the train to manchester and tried to read Dr Faustus by Christopher Marlowe with football fans crowding me. Turned out well though as the text proved useful even if it was dire to read. It wasn't hard just boring, really, really boring. I almost nodded off right there.

Then I got into my exam room and I felt energised and good even if I felt totally unprepared. I looked at the questions and there were 3 I felt I could answer so i relaxed even more considerably. I blame my feeling of unpreparedness on the lack of past papers I was given and the awful seminar class I was in. (I'm no genius but some people really dragged the debate. Of course the tutor can't let them get left behind but I felt I got nothing out of the seminars unless I was debating with the tutor in a smaller group)

well it was all going well when I started to flag at question 2. I was one and a half hours in and my motivation was low. I was going through it though then I got half way through question 3, two and a half hours in and I reached a mind block that I couldn't get over. I started thinking I should have done another question and time was called.

Sorry, just got startled by the HUGE HONKIN' COW MOOSE munching on the plants right outside my window. Dude, she's enormous! I think she might be pregnant.

She does have the loveliest brown eyes, though.

ETA: She's now napping. In my back yard. The dog next door isn't terribly happy, but at least he's stopped barking.

For those of you unfamiliar with Alaskan moose, btw (and I'll try to get a picture, but she's got her back to me), the size can be startling. A juvenile is about the size of a quarterhorse. A full-grown cow is about the size of a draft horse. A bull is bigger. With antlers. A good rack can be five feet across.
